I’m fascinated by circles, containers, borders, and boundaries… There is so much freedom on the inside when we create stability on the outside.
My work draws inspiration from the natural world, as well as from the interplay between contrasts. Simple, clear, comfortable designs, and earthy blue and brown-toned glazes communicate steadiness and grounding to both slow you down and warm you up.
I create earthy, functional pieces that seem to want to find their ways into your daily life. Handmade pottery should feel alive- like you are in active conversation with and relationship to it. As if it’s talking to you (it is).
